Stars Align Again For Claire Zinnecker & Limbo Jewelry As They Partner For Their Second Collaboration Collection

Introducing: The Nova Collection - a covet worthy capsule collection inspired by Interior Designer, Claire Zinnecker & Limbo's mutual fascination with the sky and in their interest in space. Launching in late October, this 11 piece collection hosts necklaces, stud earrings, ear cuffs, rings, and bangles. Handmade using 14kt gold fill and diamond cut faceted Onyx stones every piece will be carefully handcrafted by a talented group of women in Limbo’s East Austin studio.

A nova (plural novae or novas) is a astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star, that slowly fades over many months - which is perfectly fitting for this collection. The Nova Collection will be available for a limited time only and will host striking pieces with details resemblant of the constellations. Just like every star in the sky - each piece of this collection will be subtly different with unique details that draw your eye.

Nova’s launch will mark the second collaboration for the two rapidly expanding designers. In the summer of 2017 the two paired for the Zin Collection which quickly drew international appeal with it’s one-of-a-kind aesthetic and style. Since the launch of Zin, Limbo opened their second store at Domain Northside with another children’s concept in the works called Little Limbo - while Claire taped an entire season for the new hit design show, ‘Get Out Of My Room’ airing weekly on Universal Kids network.

The decision to partner yet again was an easy one as both parties have a mutual respect for great design and handmade goods. In fact, each designer has been featured in articles by well respected publications such as: Architectural Digest, Design Milk, HGTV, Domino Magazine, Wall Street Journal and many more!

Background:

Claire Marie Zinnecker founded Claire Zinnecker Design in 2013 to enable the combination of her passions for residential and commercial interiors with her love for designing and making furniture, lighting and accessories. As a skilled maker herself, Zinnecker led the curation for the DIY section of Camille Styles’ ‘Transformed’ blog for several years. In every interior project she always adds something custom along with handcrafted, modern pieces - due to her appreciation for genuine and original craftsmanship.

Limbo Jewelry was built by the husband and wife team of Edson Enriquez and Anne Rutt-Enriquez. Designer, Edson has always been inspired by architecture - his education in industrial design sparked his interest in metal-smithing. Since arriving at the Austin art scene in 2003, Limbo has grown from an unassuming pop-up shop on South Congress to one of the most recognised storefronts in the bustling SoCo district - with their second shop now open at Austin’s Domain Northside.
