With its grand-opening set for early November, Limbo Jewelry’s 4th boutique focuses on inclusion, diversity and positive vibes on South Congress.

Say hello to Little Limbo, the “Institute of Inclusion”. This new South Congress concept developed by the team at Limbo Jewelry will be a feel good shop filled with all things love & acceptance. Focused on thoughtfully sourced children’s gifts, clothing, & decor, Little Limbo will provide a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for ALL. Shelves will be curated with the belief that each item can be a device to declare identity and belonging. “We are on the pursuit of positivity with a goal of supporting everyone’s individual voice, personality, and their passions” says Limbo’s Marketing Director, Philip Nelson. “Tough conversations are necessary as we continue developing a more all-inclusive future & it starts with our young people”.

Over the past decade, Little Limbo’s “Mother” brand, Limbo Jewelry has become an iconic Austin hub for locally made goods by 100s of artists. The new store’s aesthetic won’t fall far from the family tree, as it will be easily shoppable in a design driven space that you won’t want to leave (and neither will your kiddos). With an eye-catching, Instagram worthy entrance & bright colorful interior, you’ll be taken on a sensory journey filled with individuality & excitement. Even in the face of intolerance and discrimination, Little Limbo’s team believes it is crucial to share the importance of diversity while responding with an openness of acceptance, love & a celebration of our differences.

“Diversity is a journey – and we aren’t kidding ourselves that Austin is close to it’s destination yet.” says Co-Founder, Anne Rutt-Enriquez. “But we’ll continue promoting both inclusion and diversity, encouraged by the belief that this is the right thing to do for all members our community.”

Company background:

Limbo Jewelry was built by the husband and wife team of Edson Enriquez and Anne Rutt-Enriquez. Designer, Edson has always been inspired by architecture - his education in industrial design sparked his interest in metal-smithing. Since arriving at the Austin art scene in 2003, Limbo has grown from an unassuming pop-up shop on South Congress to one of the most recognized storefronts in the bustling SoCo district - with their second at Austin’s Domain Northside. The brand’s online presence has also gained them International appeal.

Alongside Limbo on South Congress you’ll find their “quirky brother brand”, Triple Z Threadz. Since 2005 Triple Z Threadz has been providing Austin with original embroidery designs on vintage western and pearl snap button up shirts with their flagship store opening in 2016. Triple Z Threadz has a strong cult like fan base that even includes support from notable celebrities such as Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Russel from Shiny Ribs, Quentin Tarantino, Patton Oswalt, Ben Harper and many other movers and shakers.
